July 2026 donations to the Rodotopi Guitar Ensemble

The Rodotopi Guitar Ensemble (RGE) expresses its warm thanks to:

a) Mr. Kostas Dimitriou* for the donation of 4 student guitars and two guitar footstools.

b) The Lytis Brothers Blacksmith Shop in Rodotopi, for constructing and installing a wall mount in the RGE hall, which will accommodate the guitars in question.

The aforementioned donated guitars come to be added to the donation of 10 electro-classical guitars by the Brotherhood of Rodotopians of Athens (an association of residents of the village of Rodotopi living in Athens) in 2015, as well as three more guitars purchased with donation funds around the same time.

* Mr. Kostas Dimitriou is, among other things, an exceptional musician specializing in percussion and a collaborator of the RGE, as well as the founder of the ISM Conservatory. The conservatory operated from 2013 to 2026, completing a successful journey of musical contribution to the city of Ioannina.
